Hailing from Rajasthan, a Northern State of India, Jasvider and Preet found love in Australia and got married in 2008. Being a chef by profession, Jasvinder always had an inherent love for cuisines. Later in life, when he along with Preet decided to start with their restaurant, representing their culture and their wide variety of cuisines was their first preference.

Later in 2012, they moved to Toowoomba from Brisbane and started their very own Ice ‘n Spice, the best Indian restaurant in Toowoomba.

One of the best curries I’ve had! Meat was so tender, it was beautiful. Staff were exceptional. They let me have a taste tester of a few furries that I was tossing up between and gave me free papadums to snack on whilst I wait for my takeaway order (only a 6 minute wait!). I worked in Toowoomba for the last four months and I've tried a lot of Indian takeaway up there. I am a big fan of the chicken vindaloo and I can tell you after trying most Indian restaurants in Toowoomba this is the best! the portion is large, the price is fair, the staff are extremely friendly. Since our first visit to Ice n Spice, my husband and I don't bother going anywhere else now.... we are Ice n Spice regulars!! So much so that we feel a bit like family when we arrive - Preet always greets me with a warm hug which I find so welcoming! Jasvinder always notices when we are there (to dine or take away) and gives us a big friendly "hello, how are you and nice to see you again" welcome as well. Well, that's just the reception.
